This Privacy Policy explains what information Resyst ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Resyst is a fitness and wellness application operated from India.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and optional avatar. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your basic profile (name, email, picture) from that provider.
- Health & fitness data you log — body metrics (height, weight, age, gender), fitness goals and activity level, workouts and per-set performance (including optional heart-rate values you enter), habits and completion history, meals and nutrition, hydration, sleep, and derived recovery/readiness scores.
- Photos you choose to scan — when you use the AI Food Scanner, the photo you take is uploaded to analyse the meal.
- AI Coach messages — your chat messages, together with a summary of your recent fitness data, are processed to generate coaching responses.
- Social content — workouts you choose to share, captions, likes and the athletes you follow.
How we use your information
- To provide the app's features: tracking, analytics, streaks, social sharing and AI assistance.
- AI processing — food photos and AI-coach conversations (including the fitness context described above) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate results. They are used to answer your request and are subject to Google's API data-use terms; we do not use them to train models.
- To send the local reminders you configure (habit and workout reminders are scheduled on your device).
- To secure the service (authentication, abuse and rate-limit enforcement).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not access your contacts or location.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing hello.resyst@gmail.com. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Authentication tokens on your device are kept in the platform's secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).
Children
Resyst is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
